Using currently available tools in FreeCAD to assemble parts. The tools used were Draft Move, Edit Placement, and Edit Alignment. These tools were configured into a custom Toolbar on my Part Workbench for ease of use. As shown, the need of an Assembly Workbench is not necessary to assemble parts in FreeCAD, currently available tools will get the job done. Many of the free CAD alternatives are clunky and hard to use, DesignSpark is the first one that truly impressed me. So download it, and give it a try! http://www.rs-online.com/designspark/electronics/eng/page/mechanical I want to know what you guys think about it, let me know in the comments below! -Christopher Hoffman
