DesignSpark Mechanical: Nicer Thread (Rounded Root)

External thread with rounded root. The end of the thread has a little slope cut. Solid 3D printable. Add shank, chamfer etc. easily if needed. READ MORE DOWN BELOW... Info 2016/8: 5/8 Height, D1 basic minor to flat D major: 5/8 H x Pitch = 0,54127 x 3mm = 1,62381mm. 24M coarse pitch is 3mm. 20.752mm + 1,62381mm +1,62381mm = 23,99962mm is little bit more than needed. Start from 20.70 - 20,00 with the plastics. Perhaps best image and calculations clearly shown (also tolerances) I got the 20.752mm from some other table...than: http://www.roymech.co.uk/Useful_Tables/Screws/Hex_Screws.htm H height = 0.86603 x Pitch. Perhaps the rounded root is not necessary for 3D printing with these tiny dimensions. Rest of the hex and and the tip of bolt design are not shown here.
