❣DIY Twig Fairy House Lamp❣

DIY Twig Fairy House Lamp Hi, in this video tutorial I show you how I made a twig fairy house. I think this house can be placed outside if coated with some varnish. It's an easy project anyone can do, with little effort and awesome results. It's also a great way to stimulate children creativity and imagination. I got the idea after a short trip to the countryside where I found lots of twigs and branches laying around in my uncle's yard after some tree pruning. What a great material! I started by drawing the front of the house to have a pattern to follow when cutting and gluing the twigs together. I used the same pattern for the back of the house as well but without the door and windows. The hot glue sticks to wood so well so I glued the twigs easily. I made a pattern for the sides of the house as well. When I had all the walls I glued them together. I made the door from smaller twigs and glued it in place. The roof is made out of dried moss suspended on longer twigs. I also made a cricked chimney out of a thicker twig. After the house was finished I added some light white patina using acrylic paint. For the base of the house I used twigs and some oddly shaped branches. I made the staircase the same way. I also glued some dried moss here and there to add some contrast and texture. Inside I placed the LED lights I usually have but if this is for outdoor use you should use water resistant LED lights. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Check out my amazon storefront to see what materials and tools I use ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I promises that I will continue to post videos for you guys as often as I can. This video shows you step by step how to make a Castle Tower/Guard Tower for your tabletop RPG! I play 5e D&D, but it's really perfect for any tabletop gaming.

I use a proxxon hot foam cutter when working with foam, but you can use a knife and get pretty close to the same results!

This doesn't need to be expensive by any means. I think if you only counted the parts of the materials I actually used, this came out to less than 5$. Of course there are a lot of up front costs, but if you have most of the materials already on hand, this is a pretty cheap build!

I used XPS foam, paints from walmart, mod podge, hot glue, a bunch of coffee stirrers, some PVA glue, and a ton of time. I sealed everything in a thin coat of polyurethane at the very end to make sure that the house was protected once I was all said and done.

For a custom piece of terrain like this, I am extremely happy with how everything turned out. I made this as an extension of my very first piece of terrain, and it matched up pretty well! I couldn't have asked for better results!

If you have any ideas for what you would like to see built in the future, let me know in the comments down below! Then subscribe so you don't miss any new videos coming out in the future! Also, if you liked this, gimme that sweet sweet like.
